Beckmead College has a small number of full time places available for the 2017-2018 academic year for students in Year 12 and above. Applicants will be identified as having SEMH and / or Autism, which could be accompanied by challenging behaviour.
The College is an extension of The Beckmead Family of Schools which is an Outstanding Community Special School located across several sites in Croydon. The College has a main campus and a subsidiary campus and will be for a maximum of 100 students.
The main site is a multi-million pound new build and facilities include state of the art vocational workshops offering Catering, Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Motor Mechanics, Painting & Decorating and Multiskills.
Places will cost £42,265 p.a. (place funding plus Band 4); and admissions procedures will include a visit to this unique provision.

The College includes five large workshops that will deliver accredited courses in Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Motor Mechanics, Painting & Decorating and Multi-skills. These vocational areas are designed to promote a direct link into work and apprenticeships by replicating a business type environment.
Beckmead College also contains a state of the art Teaching Kitchen and bespoke rooms for Media, Music and Business Studies. The College is designed around a central area that contains a full size Boxing Ring that will support the delivery of sports courses.
Pupils will choose a curriculum pathway from a choice of 6.
Each pathway will in addition incorporate core subjects Maths and English, and an enrichment programme consisting of ICT, PE, Business, ASDAN Life Skills including Home Cooking & Budget Management, Careers and Employability.
